Measuring Productivity in the Non-Profit Sector

This bachelor thesis deal with measuring productivity in a non-profit sector. The introduction to this subject contains definitions of productivity in general meaning and its different types, ways of measuring productivity and relationship between productivity and factors of production, which are land, labour and capital. Main part is focused on productivity in a non-profit area. The productivity is measured in a branch office of one of the biggest non-profit organizations led by students, AIESEC, which has its headquarters here at the University of South Bohemia. The thesis analyses the productivity of the organization and the factors which affect it most. In practical part of thesis are data about cost and revenues per member which were obtained from internal financial analysis and show us how productivity can influence financial stability of organization. Subsequently, according to the results, it tries to find the best solutions to increase productivity and suggest the organization next steps which lead to higher productivity
